A GLOBAL automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an OEM Account Manager southeast of Indianapolis. This candidate must have well-established experience and contacts with the Big Three Automotive Manufacturers (General Motors, Ford, and Fiat-Chrysler).

Responsibilities:

  • Increase market share and exceed established sales targets by calling on a select group of OEM accounts
  • Promote sales of the product line with emphasis on maintaining current accounts with GM, Chrysler, and/or Ford
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan
  • Represent the company at various trade shows, conferences and distributor events. Provide training where necessary
  • Complete timely and accurate reports, including key account activity, sales forecasts, quote pipeline and expenses

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Engineering combined with at least five years of industrial sales experience

  • Five or more years of direct sales to the automotive Big 3 (GM, Chrysler, Ford)
  • Prefer solid understanding of plastic injection/blow-molded products
  • Fluent English both spoken and written; good communication skills, and ability to interact with persons of all levels of staff and management and diverse backgrounds
  • Able to travel on short notice both domestic and regionally
