A Global Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company is in need of Controls Engineer / C&I Engineer / Production Engineer in North of Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities; Controls Engineer / C&I Engineer / Production Engineer
• Perform electrical maintenance troubleshooting using PLC and robot programming
• Support processing with injection molding, vacuum forming, laser scoring, and plasma welding, and robotic hands
• Perform the new equipment design reviews and provide input in reference to the production specifications and product design
• Assure production meet the quality requirement
• Perform inventory control for electrical spare parts in the tool crib to ensure any potential equipment failures on controls related
• Respond to any equipment downtime to these issues quickly
• Train and develop the electricians to understand and troubleshoot controls related issues
• Resolve robot problem on Fanuc and ABB robots
• Develop the preventative maintenance plan for the electrical section of new equipment
• Other job duties are assigned as required

Requirement; Controls Engineer / C&I Engineer / Production Engineer
• Must have Bachelor degree in relative engineering – Industrial engineering, industrial engineering, computer technology or Associate / vocational degree with PLC control and programing experience
• Must have minimum of 3 years Control Engineer in manufacturing plant
• Must have experience with programming Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley (or other PLC machines)
• Must have experience troubleshooting and programming with Fanuc and ABB robots
• Strong knowledge of TS16949 / ISO / Lean/ Six sigma methods
• Experience with Assembly process
• Strong knowledge or experience AUTOCAD or other CAD drawings
• Must be able to long hours and weekend as needed

This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate . Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
