Entry Level Outside Sales Representative
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF SALES REPRESENTATIVE – AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURING:
-Seek out business opportunities and manage Sales Projects to Product Launch
-Work aggressively to secure new business and product opportunities.
-Visit clients to develop and strengthen customer accounts in the Automotive Interiors Industry, ensuring customer satisfaction and service.
-Achieve and maintain specific sales goals to include volumes, pricing, and revenues within the assigned market area.
-Make presentations to Customers and markets on organization, products, and technical capability, service, and market trends.
-Support and manage new and existing customer base through inventory control, handling of customer inquiries, customer complaints and other miscellaneous day-to-day business support functions.
-Identify and secure new business consistent with business strategy.
-Research and analyze market trends to include end use applications, requirements, pricing, usage, and provide recommendations based on research and analysis to management on both the short and long-term direction of market trends.
-Serve as a product and application knowledge expert for assigned market area and provide general process and quality knowledge to internal and external sources.
-Provide information and conduct presentations on customers and market activities to management teams.
-Lead and coordinate R&D, Quality, and manufacturing process support as appropriate at assigned accounts.
-Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS FOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE- AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURING:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Technical field
-1-2 years experience in Automotive Interiors business or related Automotive Manufacturing business (Entry-level also eligible)
-Clean driver’s record and comfortable traveling up to 60%
-Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to aggressively promote products.
-Adept at turning business opportunities into profitable sales
-Ability to work with a variety of functional groups at all levels of the organization
-Excellent communication skills to include interpersonal, presentation, and written.
-Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point, Access, Account Management software (ACT), Internet)
Salary: $40k + Bonus & Comprehensive Benefits
