Position: Short Term Japanese/English Logistics Coordinator

Requirements for Japanese / English Bilingual Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarding:
・ Must have Business Level of Japanese and English Language Skills – Read / Speak / Write (without any external support)
・ Associate Degree or Higher Academic Background related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operation Management, or International Business is Preferable
・ Excellent Communication skills for Business Professional Customer Service
・ Must have Intermediate or Higher MS Excel and Word Skills
・ Freight Forwarding Operations or Global Business Related Experience is Preferred
**While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
Responsibilities of Japanese / English Bilingual Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarding:
・ Perform Customer Services Duties in both English and Japanese to provide professional service to Business Clients regarding their International Freights
・ Responsible for Verbal and Written Communication with business customers in both English and Japanese
・ Coordinate all aspects of international air cargo shipments including customs clearance, inland transportation, bookings, preparing documentation, rate quotations, customer service, contacting brokers/steamship lines, cargo tracking, etc.
・ Address problems with daily operations or shipping delays
・ Report to operations supervisor immediately regarding updates of status, problems or accidents.
・ Respond to new business inquiries whenever requested by management: create quotations and present required supportive references.
・ Deal irregular arrangements and project inquiries with customers assigned by the management.
・ Participate and contributes to any internal projects as required by the management.
・ Perform any other duties as required by the management.
