One of our clients, a tier 1 automotive parts supplier, is looking for a Quality Engineer in the Indianapolis area. You will be responsible for internal product quality as well as leading continuous improvement projects. See below for the details of this position. DO NOT miss this great opportunity!

Responsibilities of this Quality Control Engineer:
•Develop procedures
•Train team members
•Investigate internal and external quality concerns
•Maintain scrap database
•Perform production and quality inspections, improve and implements quality processes
•Create and update SOP documentation and inspection reporting and analysis
•Supervise and monitor product quality inspections, calibration of tools/equipment and other quality activities
•Assist with audits (internal audits, external audits, supplier audits)
•Communicate with inspectors and customers regarding concerns, PPAPs
•Issue and manage the Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Preventive Action Report (PAR)
•Assist with internal audits to ensure the company is compliant with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, OSHA and other company policies
•Analyze quality data and identify negative trends to take effective improvement actions

Requirements of this Quality Control Engineer:
•BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
•At least 2 years of Quality Engineering Experience
•Ability to work under pressure and meet time lines
•Ability to read and understand drawings
•Knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans
•Auditor experience and strong knowledge of PPAPs
•Proficient with MS Office suite
•Excellent oral/written communication skills
•Excellent customer relations skills
•Good work ethic
